I would be honored if you would join the national parks group and post your photos from your travels there.
If you are still in Utah you should consider traveling to Colorado and The Rocky Mountain National Park. Typically sometime in May they will clear Trail Ridge Road of all the snow and you can drive from Utah straight into the park from the backside. Trail Ridge Road reaches an elevation of around 12,000ft and the vistas are absolutely wonderful. Just remember just because the road is clear does not mean it will be completely warm up there so dont forget your beenie and jacket! :)
Your best bet would be to call the park directly and ask them when they expect the road to be opening trail ridge road. Happy travels !!
