I am an artist; a creative and innovative photographer; and to an increasing degree as I learn more each day... a visionary person.
I was born at 2.30 in the afternoon on April 30th 1951; in Sydney Australia.
I have always felt * different* .. outside the normal... non belonging as I call it.
And so I have always expressed myself artistically... in writing...in art.. and in photography.
I was born into an extended family of artists, musicians and medical doctors. There was no shortage of talent, and I gleened it all from everyone. I am musical, scientific... artistic.
Formal education??? Yes there has been much over the years. University of Sydney, Australia, Pierce College, Southern California... New York Institute of Photography.

Early in the morning


I have to admit I am most creative in the morning... the EARLY hours of the morning.
Everything is still and quiet and cool.
Everything is refreshed... and new.
This is the time of the day when I feel I have a reason for being alive.

Morning...Ian! Hope your day is going well. I think great minds think alike, lol...Mornings are my favorite and I feel the same as you about them...I poke my head out the window or open and step out the door to see what kinda day that today is bringing...It helps me to wake up and focus, mostly on how I can get that morning light coming through the trees or the am light shining on that flower in the shadows, thats crying out to me...me first, me first...silly me. Photography sheds a whole new light on life for me...gives peace to the mind and soul...Looking forward to seeing more of your photos!
