Like to hike with my dog while doing and learning about photography.
I use Linux and The Gimp in my digital darkroom.
I wish someday to do photography professionally.
My Equipment
Inexpensive lower end and refurbished Canon DSLR equipment.
Maybe someday I'll be able to afford pro equipment.
My web page is a work in progress as spare time allows.
Dear Pete. I'm sorry to write you back so late. Thanks a lot for your comment. I'm glad you like my picture "Somebody is naked". Honestly, I've taken this picture in the Gallery. I changed the colors , shades, and angels. I like to experiment. I've tryed a lot of ways to present that picture. Finally I've picked the one you you see at MSS. Thanks again for your consideration. I hope you like my others pictures too. Next time I wont be late with my response. Cheers.
Hey Pete, sorry to taking so long to get back to you. If you check my Equipment List you will see that I use a Gitzo Carbon Fibre tripod. Love it! On very cold days it still gets cold but not as bad as aluminum or alloy legs (note that alluminum is one of the best heat (and cold) conducters.
A company called LensCoat makes a product called LegCoat Tripod Leg Covers available at Amazon.com and other places. They are neoprene and cover your legs. They make the tripod a little bulkier but add the warmth you are looking for. They also protect the tripod from scratches and such. They also protect the more fragile Carbon legs. And finally they add badding and make the tripod more comfortable when is is against your back or such when you carry it.
