If the photo needs to be true, then let it be true!! If it needs to be artistic, then I reckon, almost anything goes!!

About Me:: G’day! from a crazy artist in OZ!

Yeah! I’m CRAZY about the awesome things our God has made, especially here in Oz! So what I want to do here is to share with you some of those amazing things and say, "Hey, look what my heavenly Dad made!!!"

Here you will see a lot of our Australian wildlife, scenery, and other things. A lot of the photos I take are from my front verandah. So often, I only need to walk out the front door to get a fantastic shot.

I hope you enjoy what you see and I pray you will be blessed!

WHERE I LIVE: A little historical village, situated on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

I live with my husband of 24 years, my two teenage kids, and Miss Min, the cat (and her froggy friends). And they are all a wonderful blessing!

My Equipment: My camera at the moment is a Panasonic TZ1. I love the compactness of it, and I can take it anywhere. Yet at the same time, it does have a good zoom lens and great macro feature.

One day I'd like to buy something bigger as well.

My TWO Cats!!

Miss Min, my faithful and darling cat, was not at all impressed with the little one (Sir Bassy) first arrived. She didn't know what to make of him. So at first she'd hiss and then run from him and he'd chase her.

But today, it was so good to see that Miss Min now has the upper hand (paw). She's beginning to show him who's BOSS!! And when he strays from home into the neighbour's yard, she's there to put him back in line.

Hoppy Camper!!

It's been a WET week!! The first week of 2008!

I am spending some time at my Mum and Dad's place on the Sunshine Coast, in Queensland, the "sunshine" state. But where was the sunshine?? It's poured for days!! I'm thinking we might need to build an ark!! :-)

Consequently, I haven't venture too far to take photos. But I did find some interesting things in the garden along the back fence.

CRAZY Froggy at the Window!!

I had the funniest experience last night before I went to bed.

I was waiting for our kids to come home. The girls had gone to pic up my boy who was working late... finished at 12:00. They had to drive 30 mins both ways to get him. (He normally drives, but the car was having repairs done yesterday, so he couldn't take it to work.)

How's this for a recommendation??

I am enjoying how this group works. I am impressed by Ning networks.

Anyhow, since starting here, I've gone a step further and started a couple of my own Ning networks. One of them is a kid and family friendly group (a private one), which I've started especially for the kids in our kids club. Only one trouble, not as much security for your photos here, so it's good to have a signature/watermark on them, which I must get around to doing.
