For the borders, I simply use photoshop, nothing more..
But if you want a software to do it, I know that "Bordermaker" is quite nice and free :)

Glad you noticed my borders, I have been playing with them in the last couple of days.

I use Photoshop CS3 mainly, if you want some instructions, let me know and I will direct you to the right place. I am self taught and hunt things down on the net.

Someone, somewhere has usually done it before, you just need to know where to look.

Also most of the stuff I do could be done in elements too I think.
