thanks cole,i use different methods.i take 3 different exposure then merge them in a software called,photomatix.this method is called HDR.i also use a polariser filter on all my shots.i use another method called IR =infrared photos.whoich is using an IR filter which is basically black.and has to be used in bright sunshine.you get a ghostly effect.check out my photo [derryglossory] for example.i also use a tripod for all my shots.hope this was helpful.paul.if you need to ask me anything just let me know.
