Hello World!

I'm new to MyShutterSpace, new to photography, and it's the start of a new year. I really am very new to photography, and want to learn all I can. I just bought a new camera and it should be delivered next week! It's a Nikon D40, and I'm really looking forward to learning how to use it. I'm sure I'll have a lot of photos to upload next week, and I welcome any feedback on them. I will probably need a lot of help.

First of all read the instruction of your camera completely. If you find any questions ask, and don't be shy to ask even if your question is stupid. Then i recommend you to read a book about lighting and photography in order to get some idea about it. Then start shooting and uploading here.
