Its not about * as good as* its about developing and growing with and accepting your unique vision... and yours is not half bas as I see it!
I have commented on your photograph in CC black and white.
Thank you for commenting of my images I really appreciate it. In general I find a number of your images very intriguing. I like that you are not hesitant to use a vertical format when effective for that image. I also like the repetition of an element in several of your images. I will comment individually of some of your images it just takes me a little time since it usually takes me about 20 minutes to really absorb an image.
I actually live in Gander, which is 300km from St. John's, so the people here are that much MORE friendly ! !
During the September 11, 2001 (911crisis) we had 6660 people come to our town of 10,000. We had to be very frendly to take care of those who nearly doubled our population !
Happy to hear your weather experience was better !
The curb does give the "left lean" look. But the curb is actually curved and the parking lot has a right to left flow. Helps the rain flow away more quickly!
I have never been to Jarajevo, but have a very good friend who spent two tours of duty there with the Canadian Armed Forces. He loved the people and the rich heritage.
