Hi Cyndi....thank you for your comment. I have also had dogs all of my life, as well as fish. My 'Old English Sheepdog' passed away this past November, and I miss him so much. I've never had cats, but adore them, as I'm a true animal lover. The pets you've photo'd are very cute. Thank you for sharing....
thank you for informations about your cat nap. Macro lenses can be a bit tricky sometimes because they are very sensitive to focusing .I guess. You worked it out fine here anyway!

I appreciate that you bothered answering my comment on jayne's photograph " reality". I getbetter what you mean now. I can understand that this photograph strikes you are a personal reasons. but actually most people have painful experiences of age or illness around them, this is so common! Myself, I can remember my grandfather losing his wits and everything... so, if I get you right, you mean provoking pretty much like striking more than shocking? that is what I would say myself about such photographs.
