About Me:: Stay At home dad. I just received my d40x for my 40th birthday and hope to have some photo's to post here real soon.I have worked in two photography studio's but that was years ago in my late teens. I also took B&W photography in high school and always wanted to have a home lab.Now that i have a digital slr it makes things alot easier to adjust and print my own photo's. I just hope my children alow me to get out and start taking landscape,nature and wildlife photo's.

My Equipment: nikon d60/ nikon n60 all Nikon lenses - 18mm-55mm Af 70mm-300mm AF/18mm-55mm af-s dx 55mm-200mm af-s dx, nikon 50mm F1.8, sigma 70-300mm DG Macro, 18mm-55mm af-s DX VR

Before you begin using this site we would like to tell you a little bit about the place.

This site is designed for photography enthusiasts. It is not a place for uploading a million sentimental photos of friends and family. There are other sites that are better suited for that purpose. Please share your best photos, read forums, join groups and by all means ask questions.

If you have any thoughts on photos you see, please comment on them. You are welcome to check out all the photos on this site and leave any comments you like on photos you like or dislike. Be critical and explain why you feel a certain way about a photo. This in itself is a great way to learn and grow as a photographer.

Very importantly, please read all the rules about this site.
