hi sreeshanth i am glad you liked ballinascorney photo, and honoured you choose it for your desktop.about HDR.1st you need to take 3 or more photos of a scene.example -1 ,0 ,+1 ,, exposures.then merge them in a software like photomatix which is the best, you can download a free trial version to see what you think.you can also take 1 raw shot and make 3 different exp as in -1, o. +1 and merge them in photomatix.the choice is yours.also i recommend you use a tripod for HDR.if you do any HDR shots let me know .if i can be any more help send me a message.hope this was helpful;;paul
Hi sreeshanth, I'm not sure what you want to know about HDR. There are a couple of aspects - the exposures you choose in the camera and the software you choose to implement the effect. I have not used any software specifically for HDR. I use Gimp as my general purpose processing software.
Here is a fairly technical discussion http://www.hdrsoft.com/resources/dri.html#capture
You might check with members here that shoot more HDR.
If I can be of more help, let me know.
Hi sreeshanth! I started this discussion and would love for you to join it...
The Red Paper Clip
I only recently learned about the fabulous story of how a young man in Canada traded-up a red paper clip for a house in 14 transactions. I have long believed that anything is possible and so whilst feeling thrilled for this young man and his fiance (now wife, I think), I couldn't help thinking how much I would like to do something like this too!
