About Me:: Well, I work in computing and I'm studying for a BSc(Hons) in Networking and Systems Support. I'm married to Ashley (since 4th July 2005) and live in Glasgow, Scotland although originally I'm from Lincolnshire in England.
I love art and photography and I'm always on the lookout for new and interesting images. I have a love of animals which draws me to take photo's of all creatures great and small whenever I can, so a 105mm macro lens is on my wishlist, along with a set of Kenko extension tubes and a NIkon Speedlight Macro flash system.
I can hope, can't I??

My Equipment: I've been taking photo's (albeit amateur) since the age of 11 when I saved up for a Praktica Super TL 1000!. In June 2008 I bought a Nikon D40 so I'm just starting to get to grips with it. Prior to the Nikon I was using a Fuji S3000 but this was mainly for the usual holiday snaps etc. Most of my pictures on here will be taken with the Nikon and the stock 18-55mm lens, although for many of the macro shots I have inverted an old 35mm onto the end of it.
Just bought a Jessops 360AFD Flash Unit...
Update: Now the proud owner of a Nikon 50mm F1.8D A/F Nikkor prime lens and a Hahnel battery grip.
Update: Just bought a Sigma 55-200mm

My equipment ....I am still using it mainly on auto focus lol! But I am getting some different results. that little fella that walked into the house was so lovely.
it sat on my hand for 20 minutes and his whole head would turn around like it was on a single pivot and look at me... (VERY STRANGE) he had a real personality...so I sat there thinking.., I should take a pic... so I did and then let him fly away outside. Anyway thanks again.

Stepping out of my comfort zone...

On Thursday I took a walk in the Park with my camera. Those of you who know my work will know that I rarely shoot anything bigger than my big toe so I decided to try something different.
