hi jim about the photo derrylossory,i used a polariser filter,took 3 different exp and merged them in photomatix.hope this was helpful.thanks for the comment.paul

Thanks Jim, for the comment on my 'Scarborough Sunrise' photograph.

I am lucky to have this beach (and a few others) minutes from my home.

It is a tranquil spot until it fills with beach goers. LOL

Hey Jim...to be dead honest, I have no idea how to do the HDR and I'm not too familiar with photomatix, haha....I only use the software my D40 came with, which is called PictureProject, and then I click on "auto enhance" which only deals with the contrast and other lighting. But, just like yourself, I do want to know how to do the HDR and possibly get my hands on this photomatix.
