My Equipment: My first DSLR that my son thought I should have...I love you son, and my new Canon 40D (3 months old). I've had a Minolta X700 for a lot of years but have retired it. Now I get to play around lots without wasting film.

Thank you for your encouraging words. And yes, please do look around at my photos, comments good or bad are welcome...it's all a learning experience. I'm still getting to know my camera and photography in general essentially, I'm still confused with shutter, aperture and light settings and what settings are best for specific situations but as time goes by, I'm confident I will get it all together. I personally prefer natural photography then abstract but certainly am open to anything interesting.

Please don't intimidated by other people photos and think that yours may not be as good as others. This site is all about learning from others. It is a great site to view all types of photos. I consider myself an amateur photographer and still learning. If you have any questions, you can ask me or other people, who are more than willing to help in any area. Francois is the expert in lenses and just about anything. I found him to very helpful. You can check out out my friends list and most of these people can help if you have a question as well. If you want I can look at your photos and offer suggestion for improvement. Keep shooting.
