HDRI Photography...

Hi everyone... I started this group to see if there were other photographers on this site currently working with or interested in working with HDR photography. Lets discuss technique, style, composition, software, etc...

I have attached a sample of one of my HDR photos.

Great guys! Glad to see you here. Sorry I have been a bit quiet the last few days on MyShutterspace. A great photographer friend of mine and I have started development of a (completely ad-free) website to use as a repository of general purpose photography FAQs and tutorials as well as DIY solutions to overcome the financial burden that comes along with having Photography as a hobby.

I'm not quite ready to release a URL at this point as we are still working on back-end stuff and template design but I will let you know when we're at least somewhat live. I would love to have feedback and colaboration on the HDR stuff. I read Johnos HDR wordpress blog and came across some interesting information there that inspired me to do a full scale side-by-side comparison test.

The test consists of the same shot, 1)Bracketed 3 RAW files, 2) Bracketed 3 JPG files, 3)Bracketed 1 RAW file - exposure compensation in Adobe Lightroom, 4)Bracketed 1 JPG file - exposure compensation in Adobe Lightroom. HDR as it applies to digital photography is relatively new and I'm excited to start compiling some "proof is in the pudding" type of tests like this one.

The overall goal of the instruction and articles we are writing is to allow the every-day photographer to follow a step-by-step instruction and achieve results the first time.

Standby for transmission...
