July 2008 Contest - Dogs - Closed

So its summer or perhaps even winter now where your are. But throughout the year your trusty companion is around. Lets see what the little (or big) pooch looks like.

Here is the challenge. To create a High Quality Photo of a great Shot of a Dog. A real dog not a stuffed animal. Not a typical shot of a Dog laying around but something a little more unique. Perhaps a great portrait, or a guard dog guarding, or a dog running enjoying the freedom of a field or even a dog hunting or snowshoeing. No Dog? Borrow one or just go to the park. Owners are usually very happy to oblidge specially if they are given free photos.

Very important, please read Rule 7 and rule 8. Note also that when you post your entry in this group, make sure you post the full size 1024 pixel image, a link to it, or a clickable thumbnail that then displays the full size image. I will post a "How to Post an Entry" message here soon.

RULES

1. Photos must be taken with the July Contest Theme of Dogs.
3. Proof may be required by all winners. Keep your original un-touched photos!!
4. Photos can be Digital or Film/Slide/Print converted to Digital.
5. Any digital enhancements are OK but NO additions of digital objects, line-art and so on.
6. Photos must be posted in this Group Discussion as a reply no later than midnight Thursday July 31st 2008. (As there are issues with entries from all over the world and time zones and such, an entry with a "May 1st" date as stamped by MyShutterSpace.com will be allowed.
7. Photos must comply with the General Photo Contest Rules posted in the Photo Contest Group. Please read them here: GENERAL RULES & INFORMATION
8. Reminder, only two entries per person and the photo must be posted with a minimum dimension of 1024 pixels high or wide.

JULY PHOTO CONTEST THEME IS DOGS. When did this change. I am also having problems getting to the blog, I also got bounched out of this club or what you call it, had to sign in again. I do not remember ever posting a Beach Contest (yet) but it was on my mind. I also do not remember removing a Beach Contest. Having said that I have had a lot on my mind and I could just be going crazy.

There is nothing I could do here in this group that would cause you to need to "sign in" again?
