Is there a way to prevent people from uploading +300 random photos?

If you feel that your photos are good, amazing, well composed, interesting or even art, then by all means upload them! This is of course a matter of personal opinion. But I must say that I find it increasingly frustrating that some members on this site, seem to just upload every single frame they've got. It effectively means that I won't comment or criticise their work. But more importantly, it will often prevent me from viewing photos from members who only post a few at a time - they're simply lost in the mix.
So my question is (and I know we've had this discussion before but this time I hope we can reach a conclusive answer) if there is a way to prevent people from uploading an enormous amount of photos to this site?
Fx by restricting it to 5 uploads per day or perhaps new members are only allowed to upload a fixed amount within the first month of membership?

Tom has posted just about every family event on this site - I assume so his family can view the images. Realistically, I would make 200 the maximum anyone should have on here. One just rotates in new images or others that have not been posted before. One guy one here has 65 pages of images - around 1,100 individual shots. Who is going to look through his body of work? When you go to his earliest pages at least from 40 to 65 its all minerals and rocks with descriptions. Now these are clearly not for us to admire and respond to. This is like the story with the digital camera. The fact we are not using a film, hence no cost for developing, it gives us the freedom to shoot till we drop without actually stopping and thinking about what we are shooting. I say one photo per day maybe max. five should be allowed for upload.; ▶ Reply to This
