I am actually getting very excited about metering / manual mode. I have almost finished "Understanding Exposure" What a really great book. The photographer's work is in film, but he has updated the book to include digital shooters - and so much applies to both anyway. It is just an overview in many respects - but detailed enough to make you really grasp the basic concepts (at least in theory - we'll see about in practice). Wanted; a sense of satisfaction and fulfilment. All offers considered.

I need a new job. Ok, this job is good...actually it's very good. I maintain service stations and by that I mean that I have 25 tradesmen and 6 admin staff that work for me and we do a magnificent job with very limited resources in keeping rundown networks going well beyond their life span. Out of the darkness

I have been experimenting recently with the manual settings on my camera. I have to self learn the nitty gritty of my camera as this is going to make a profound improvement in my skills as a photographer. Not a happy Bunny =[

I charged my camera battery the other night to get the camera out to start taking pictures of autumn. Put the battery back in my camera and... Now it isn't working. Wont turn on. nowt. Soooo not amused!!! Have to send it away, and knowing tech stuff, by the time it gets sent back to me, I will have to pay a fortune, and I will have missed autumn! =[ Shoonzie
