Thanks for the comment on my Montrose Steeple image. No, not flying, it was taken from distance and from a car park that is at a lower level - zoomed in to the steeple to avoid getting the roofs between me and the steeple into the shot.

Thanks, Anita.  Just found out it is scheduled for the 10th. I am so not looking forward to this as it is a repeat surgery. 2 of the rods they put in broke so they have to re-insert two more. Took them 10 hours last time with 3 weeks in hospital stay for rehab.  Merry Christmas, huh?  I will be back as I find the challenges, well challenging.

Thanks, Anita, for the kind words.  The dome you asked about is in Taormina in Sicily.  There are three churches along the main road and I had to stop in each one, of course.

Anita - Yea, I noticed that notice after I put the photo on-line.  I took it the 21st of November and had no idea when the competition started.  I don't think I will have time to go back though as I have back surgery coming up very soon.  I'll try and give it my best shot (no pun intended.)  Take care and thanks for the info.
