Yes Barry.i agree with you,for this very reason i am shifting to FZ-200,heard that @2.8 it works wonders, yet to explore.....studying the manual......after canon 500d,this one will take some time to get the hang .....the black and white of that FZ-200 box was clicked with the same camera......will be posting more and expect your valuable comments and suggestions.....regards  vrinda

Thank you, Barry.  I really appreciate your comments on my lake photos.  It was one of the most beautiful locations I've been to and nature played along that day by sending such wonderful clouds!

Barry - my image Warplane...  I forgot to tell you what type of aircraft it is..  Beechcraft Expeditor also known as a Beech 18 and C45 Expeditor...  many used by the RAF and Canadian Air Force.  Built by Beech Aircraft, Wichita, Kansas, USA and I believe they started building them around 1939.  Bob

Thanks for the interesting history, Barry. Best I can do is a great uncle in the Northumberland Fusiliers. The family has a certificate of service somewhere bearing the printed signature of the Secretary of State for War, Winston Churchill.

Definitely a challenge when it's an overcast and featureless sky like that, but I think you pretty well nailed that marshes shot.

Hi Barry and Happy new year to you too. Thanks - I had an interview at the Gunners' RHQ in Woolwich back when I was a lad but only visited once. The gun does remind me of the Tsar Cannon I saw at the Kremlin back in 2003 - now that was a whopper.

Thanks, Barry.  Chicago's Cloud Gate (aka The Bean) is great fun for anyone with or without a camera.

Thanks, Barry.  The contrasts of the old and new were all over Chicago.  They have some amazing architecture.
