Denny. I spent a week at Ellis Island before they opened it to the public shooting a documentary for The History Channel. We literally had the place to ourselves. I was even able to locate the passenger list from the boat my grandparents came to America on, from Austria, in 1913. I like the last image. The feeder is irrelevant and #3 stands on it's own. jeff
My vote is also for the third one for two reasons A) the sense of movement and B) it looks more real . . . meaning BECAUSE the second one looks like it is suspended in mid air there is no real emotional connection. The third image feels much more interactive with the viewer.

This was shot with one 500 watt sec. Novatron flash head at F16 at 1/200 sec.
Camera was a Olympus E510 with a 300mm lens.
All three are good but I like number 2 best because it looks like the bird is suspended in mid-air. Do you know what aperture and shutter speed you used? I'm asking because I'm still learning.
