“The thing that’s important to know is that you never know”
“I don’t like to arrange things.
If I stand in front of something, instead of arranging it,
I arrange myself”.
“I will never choose a subject for what it’s mean to me
or what I think about it. You just choose a subject and
what you feel about it, what it means began to unfold”.
“For me the subject in the picture
is always more important than the picture”
I share these thoughts because they are the essence of what I feel when I walk down the streets with my camera. Because for me, photography is much more than the mere presumption of a subject, landscape or any since. Photography is a philosophy of life. It is the expression of the artistic world as we see it, breathe and feel it.
These quotations belong to a person who has influenced my life in a transcendental way in the field of photography: Diane Arbus, March 14, 1923 - July 26, 1971
