HI All...I need help. My sony dslr has dirt in it. I'm not sure if it's dirt, but when I look thru the viewer it has spots on the top left. I went thru the cleaning process and it's still there. How can i get rid of this spots? :-(

This site is primarily about cleaning sensors but it also has some good tips on products NOT to use on any internal part. Use the links on the left of the page to navigate through the pages. It's a lengthy read, but well worth it in my opinion.

Plastic's+ static + dust makes it this way in to the view finder you can use a can compressed air and lightly spray it out and it wont hurt your photo work in viewer with dust but it relay annoying : )

Sounds like you've got specks of dust in the viewfinder. They can get in through the lens hole, bypass the mirror and settle on the inside of the viewfinder. It won't affect the photos - it's just annoying. I've got tons of it in my viewfinder and you learn to ignore it after a while. To prevent it, make sure that when you change the lens:

1. You turn the camera off - this prevents static on the sensor attracting dust.

2. You point the camera downwards (i.e. lens pointing to the floor), so that dust/dirt can't fall in.

3. Do it in a dust free area.

Is it in the lens or the body of the camera?.. remove the lens and look in the viewfinder and see if you still see them, if no, is the lens... and i have always used compressed air but a a distance so it would not be forceful or get any liquid in it..

If the dirt is on the lens try a drop of distilled water and a Microfiber Cleaning Cloth. I've successfully used that method several times.
