Sorabh... that alien is one of my faves too, take note...was taken with my very first P&S Canon Powershot A550, at macro setting. The caterpillars shot was taken with a G-12 at macro setting. I use P&S's for my macros...cant afford the macro lens hehe. I agree with you, extension tubes with no AF connections need patience....a lot of patience.

Thanks for the message. I teach photography to high school students and we just finished studying lines and subject placement, so the information was fresh in my mind. You said you re-edited your image and attached it or linked it, but somehow I didn't get it, sorry.
There is a really good book on composition that goes into depth and reasoning. It's called Digital Photo Design - How to Compose Winning Pictures, by Paul Comon. I just checked it out of the Library.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have. So far, I like your images you have posted. You have a great eye and you have an ability to find a good perspective and photography subjects in a pleasing way.

Thanks for the friend request. As you know, a good flash is a must for any photographer. I got the 580 just for the more power output. I take a lot of group shots for my church, school and weddings with large groups and I wanted something that would reach everybody. The one lower than that is less expensive and has most of the same features except the power. I would say either one will work well for you, it just depends on what you photograph. Thanks you for asking. Keep shooting and posting more images, I would like to see more of your work.
