How to do this with Nikkon DSLR D40X (if any Nikkon Experts here)

Hope this helps, I just downloaded the D40x manual - your camera is similar to mine in the way the controls work.

Commenting on photographs - why and how

Since most of us have joined My Shutterspace, to post photographs and solicit comments on those photographs, I wanted to offer some of my thoughts on providing those comments.

Generally photographers are artists and display their feelings or impressions of the world around them in their photographs.
