I got my first DSLR in summer 2009. Since then I got a lot of positive comments on my pics from my friends. However, I would like to know how good my pictures really are and what I could improve. Thats why I decided to join a photo community. I'd would love to get some feedback from you guys!
There is no particular area of photography I feel being dedicated to. I love to experiment, to try out new things. Some of my photos simply capture the beauty of the moment. Some other are attempts to capture ordinary things from an extraordinary point of view.
By the way, Heinrich is the German form of Henry. So feel free to call me that.

Hey Henry...thank you for a pleasant surprise with the comments :) most appreciated . I will look in to improving the heron and london night shot using your suggestions. The 'landmark' shot does look better with a little less space on the right and after shifting a the central line. Thanks for the tips.
I live in Sheffield..about 3 hours from London and had visited London last month for work and thats when I had taken the shots. I dont know if this help, but to get some details on the sky in the 'Perpendicular' photo, I used rear sync flash and shutter at 1 sec. Or it may be that I was lucky :)
