Afghanistan was a real eye opener when taking photographs of people. When you're living in a country like New Zealand, that lets you have the freedom to take imagery of what and who you'd like and then you go to Afghanistan. Most of the time, you have to ask before taking any photographs and the biggest no no is to photograph woman.
The Afghan children love to have their photo taken and they love to see themselves on the screen on the back of the camera.
