You need your sensor cleaned. There are small spots showing up in your images, they look like moisture spots on your sensor. Until you get the cleaning, editing does wonders."
Many thanks Colin for taking the time to view my image 'A Florentine Side Street' and leave your valuable critque. When I was composing this shot I decided to keep the two bikes in this image in order to add some foreground interest. Believe me I would love to go on another night shoot around Florence as I've only done it once; but I've put the idea on hold for the moment as the temperatures are dropping to around -2 celsius in the evening :( Regards, John
