"I have to agree with Bob.... (and we dont agree a lot, lol) I would suggest either a crop to the water line or if your original has more at the top of the frame... add it back in. Right now there is just enough showing that the viewer wants to see…"

"I love fog pics and this one is great. I love the composition.
You need your sensor cleaned. There are small spots showing up in your images, they look like moisture spots on your sensor. Until you get the cleaning, editing does wonders."

John Keith Sutherland said… Many thanks Colin for taking the time to view my image 'A Florentine Side Street' and leave your valuable critque. When I was composing this shot I decided to keep the two bikes in this image in order to add some foreground interest. Believe me I would love to go on another night shoot around Florence as I've only done it once; but I've put the idea on hold for the moment as the temperatures are dropping to around -2 celsius in the evening :( Regards, John
