Bat Trang est une petite ville à environ 20 kilomètres d'Hanoi. Cette localité est entièrement consacrée à la fabrication de la céramique vietnamienne. Outre l intérêt que peut susciter cette activité en elle-même, la "visite" de la ville permet d avoir une assez bonne idée de la vie vietnamienne d aujourd'hui. Loin des clichés touristiques, on peut y découvrir un Vietnam industrieux a petite échelle, un mélange d artisanat et de technologie, d ambitions et de moyens somme toute modestes. …
