FASCINATING PHOTOGRAPHY TECHNIQUES-EASY TO UNDERSTAND

I will share with collegues here a site of a special Photographer. His name: IVAN CASTRO.

He is from Guatemala, and is a celebrity. Very artistic, and most of all, the greatest Teacher and Friend of all.

He shares all kind of tips and techniques to teach anyone to enjoy taking good pictures. He uses a very easy
understanding language for anyone!

The bad news is that it is in Spanish for all those who can not understand, but maybe can go to a web translator help.

I really recommend to follow… Continue

Thank you for your comment on my Sleepy Little Baby. The kittens had been well socialized by their two mistresses and would fall asleep anywhere. BTW, I really like your photo of the chimpanzee...so wise and thoughtful...makes you wonder...

my workshops are held in my studio in Pontiac MI.....always sold out so i don't advertise them at all, mostly former students fill them first.....so that's always nice.

my favorite lens is my 85 1.2......awesome, i love the weight of it....i have the 1.8 but it seems like a play lens in comparison.......

I use a program called photomatix , but it is not only that, you need to read about HDR Photography. Go to http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/high-dynamic-range.htm and it really does a nice job on explaining how it works, but the best software I found to do it with was PHOTOMATIX at http://www.hdrsoft.com/.
Thank you for the compliment.

This is a link for a howto about calibrating the monitor on a linux system. http://www.linux.com/archive/articles/113936 Even for windows or mac, it's probably worth a read.
