OK Stacy, I am really in favor of critisism, as this site is just a gallery. I would also limit number of images uploaded per day. Some people insert quite a lot of them and quantity prevails over quality. Plenty of nice photos simply disappear somewhere in background before anybody can even notice them. People must place comments on lots of photos and it is the only way how to draw attention to their own photos because there is a tendency to go and look at photos of those who comment yours. Ratings would also contribute to finding good photos from hundreds of uninteresting.

Believe me, I understand how lack of time and pressure can suppress artistic endeavors. There is no rush, we will ,hopefully, be around for some time to come. I appreciate your extending friend status.

Thanks Randy and Ichtus, yeah, I have some of those shots... and yeah I am really busy, single mom with no help from anybody, freelancing trying to stay afloat... my artwork kind of gets neglected in this situation. I appreciate your input and will think about what you said, because your point is valid. Expressing myself as an artist is important but unfortunately the second priority right now, aackk! But thanks, and I will get some more artistic shots up soon.

Hi Stacey, (with all respect) in looking through your images, I feel as if I'm reading your catalog. Do you ever take non-salable shots? I realize you are probably real busy, but do you "let your hair down" and take arty shots? You seem to have real potential and I'm ready to see your abstracts, macros, even tilted horizon images ;). Just curious the type of shots you take for fun. I hope I haven't offended, just trying to get you to relax and stretch a bit (or show us your stretches).

Stacey

Thanks very much for the comment. I am glad you liked my photography of the Gayundah Wreck.

As for being 'arty' I even had to Google Salvador Dali
how is that for non-arty. LOL

Anyway I know what I like and I just love photographing this ship wreck. I was that interested in it that I researched its history. I (hopefully) will get my new camera this week so off to the wreck and I will see how arty I can get.

Thanks again and Cheers
Frank
