Some people insert quite a lot of them and quantity prevails over quality. Plenty of nice photos simply disappear somewhere in background before anybody can even notice them. People must place comments on lots of photos and it is the only way how to draw attention to their own photos because there is a tendency to go and look at photos of those who comment yours. Ratings would also contribute to finding good photos from hundreds of uninteresting.

I appreciate your input and will think about what you said, because your point is valid. Expressing myself as an artist is important but unfortunately the second priority right now, aackk! But thanks, and I will get some more artistic shots up soon.

Thanks very much for the comment. I am glad you liked my photography of the Gayundah Wreck.

As for being 'arty' I even had to Google Salvador Dali
how is that for non-arty. LOL

Anyway I know what I like and I just love photographing this ship wreck. I was that interested in it that I researched its history. I (hopefully) will get my new camera this week so off to the wreck and I will see how arty I can get.
