DSC08949: The Dance

DSC08949: The Dance
This is my second attempt at taking a "portrait" type photograph. I did several in color which i was not very happy with, and more in B/W on Saturday of my daughter and her friend.

It was "Homecoming" dance night in our town so we made our daughter suffer through several photograph of her and her friend.

She suffered and complained but i took many photos of her because me and the wife wanted to and it was good practice for me.

I think that this is an incredible photo of her and i really love the way it turned out. I used the Minolta 35-105 for this photo and a "Back Flash" for the photo outside.

Exposure: 0.01 sec (1/100)
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 200

St Louis Zoo

We went to the St Louis Zoo today and i took my a200 of course. I used my Quantaray LD 70-300 lens in a Landscape creative style and i took all the photos in 16:9 HD Aspect Ratio. I took 469 photos of all the different areas in the Zoo. IF you ever are in St Louis, i strongly suggest going and visiting there.

I saw your latest picture with the blue colour. I had the same yesterday. Probably this picture is underexposed. Try it again under the same circumstances with a more light sensitive objective. I have used yesterday the 18-105 mm VR 3.5-5.6 Nikkor lens. I will try it again with the Nikkor 1.8 50mm this late afternoon.
It is just a suggestion . Maybe it works

62nd reunion in St Louis. 82nd Airborne Division
"All American" / "America's Guard of Honor" C130 was held at the Mid-America on 8-14-2008

I used the "Action Program" on my camera and i was able to follow the aircraft as they jumped out of it and get some really good action shots!

I took all of the photos in 16:9 HD Aspect Ratio where they would have a framed feel to them.

The creators of the site say that we can import photos from Flickr. How can this be done?

It would be nice to be able to post photos on here from Flickr or from here to Blogger or from Blogger to the built in blog on here. Has anyone ever suggested this before?
