Wow, Michael, you are the firs one I have ever found that even knows where Campo is. I loved living there. Back then it was just the little community that was an old army base or something like that. The little High School was great, you had to go outside and walk under the porch to get to your next classroom and we always swam for P.E. as long as the weather was warm. Then all summer the pool was open to the public, and I was there from the time it opened till it closed. Boy, those were the days! I have 5 or 6 very old pics of campo taken on a 110 camera. I scanned them and tried to brighten the color, but they are very old, taken in 74. We also lived in Chula Vista and National City after I married my husband who was in the Navy back then. I loved Balboa Park and the Zoo. Well as you can tell, I am a bit of a rambler, sorry if I bored you. Blessings to you and yours. - Debbie
Hello Michael , Welcome to MSS. I used to live near San Diego as a teen, out in the dessert in Campo. I think it has really grown since 74. And when I married my husband at the ripe old age of 16 we moved to Chula Vista. I miss the beach. Well didn't mean to ramble, just ask anyone, I have a bad habit of doing that. lol Hope to see some of your photos soon.
Love and prayers from a pastors wife.
