Ken Mitchell said… Mary, thanks for the nice comment. I went back to look at the original file and that picture was actually taken without the doubler. The focus is sharper and there is better contrast on the Purple Finch than the other two. I have the advantage of a 300 mm prime lens that I got second hand back in the 90's.
