- I am an amateur photographer. I've been shooting for a few years and i have yet to master photography. I'm not sure what field of photography i want to do yet because i enjoy pretty much shooting everything from portraits, landscapes, sports, and nature. One day i will decide what type of photography i will be leaning towards to but as of now i love all fields.

The have books spcifically for the 30d and the will show you examples of pictures and how to set your camera up. It would do wonders for you to buy one. It helped me and that's where I learned a lot of advanced techniques. later, G

- Hi Joe. If you are looking for a free photography progra, goolge 'GIMP'. Then download it and install. It is open source (free) and can do almost all photoshop can.
