Nice highlighting of the subject. I like lens flares, but this one is a tad distracting.

Sometimes it's that accidental shot that proves to be the best. One of my professional friends on assignment one time ran out of film for his Nikon and had a small point and shoot camera in his pocket with one shot left on a 36 exposure roll and took the shot. That particular shot is now hanging in the High Museum of Art as part of the permanent collection of Photography. He also sold rights to it to Runners World and later Nike. Not bad for an accidental shot so you never know !

Thank You for your comment and questions.
The shot was reworked in "Light Room"
and we call her Ab a doodle short for Abagail .

I think you're right on 'Woman of Color'. Was trying something in color and didn't quite do it. Thanks for the observation I'll put up the original instead.

I really like the deflection of the waterfall off of the rock. It makes for a more interesting composition.

I just wanted to say there are some great entries here!  Because of time, I haven't been able to comment on each entry but I have been able to review them.
