Early in the morning

I have to admit I am most creative in the morning... the EARLY hours of the morning.
Everything is still and quiet and cool.
Everything is refreshed... and new.
This is the time of the day when I feel I have a reason for being alive.

Well, it is Christmas eve.
And what a year it has been for me!
I have come so far in my personal growth... so far as an individual and an artist.
I have come to know a lot of new faces, and names,
And I have walked away from or dismissed just as many.

Photographing people in cafes and pubs

It's simple really... it starts with different basic plans..... oh wait a minute.... thats the Vonage phone company advertisment... never mind.

Ok... there are several approaches that I use... depending where I am... as in... do I know the people here.... is it crowded.... are the people looking at me?

The first thing to do.... even if I am in a cafe where I am known... is to gauge the mood of the people. Known to me or not... people have different moods... and sometimes they just dont want to… Continue

On the fairy waterfalls, i meant "unfortunately" not the fact it was a 4MP camera, but that I didn't know much about photography then - and so I would have loved to have got more shots - it is just such a shame it is completely overgrown now. That wee camera did me well! I just love my Fuji sooo much!
