- I love traveling and adventure. As an avid skier, I started traveling around the world starting at 18 and have always taken my camera with me. I started taking photos with a Brownie when I was 7 years old and had my first darkroom at 12. I fell in love with color using a Minolta SLR at 14 and took slides for most of my life until my wife bought me a digital camera in 1999.
I am an international business consultant who continues to travel around the world with my wife. I am self-taught and started successfully exhibiting and selling my work a few years ago.

Whales: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Cabo San Lucas is located at the southern most tip of the Baja Peninsula and the place where my wife and I spend each Christmas. Mostly know for it's deep-sea diving, it is also on the migration route for whales that swim down from Alaska to the Sea of Cortez. It is possible to see whales on a daily basis from the beach or hotel room. I am happy to say that I was thrilled just to have 3 of my works included with the calaber of work, but even more exciting now to have been given an "honorable mention" for one of the pieces. Other new news...have myself a new Canon 50D now (like you!) and have been very active in some terrific photo groups and also some amazing mentors. Life is good!
