Gender:
Male
Hometown:
Warrington, Cheshire UK
About Me:
Social Documentary photography features prominently in my work. It is my favoured subject. I also enjoy Landscape, People and travel pictures on a personal level.

Originally from Cheshire in the UK I spent most of my working life dealing with people in one way or another. I worked for the Health Service in the UK and Canada and spent time also in the Military.

I am now living and working in South East Asia, based presently in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I moved here in October of 2009. Phnom Penh is a good central base for travelling throughout Asia and is why I chose to settle here for a while.

Any questions, please ask, always happy to share !

"I wonder if he's saying "See me" with his pointed fingers - I'm not invisible, I'm here!  Children are perceptive and often see more than we give them credit for."

"Powerful shot Ian!  It's so hard to see children in this environment, decade after decade, with seeming endless inaction.  Good POV."

Working for Charity

I do a number of free shoot for Charitable NGO's in Cambodia the main one being People Improvement Organization (PIO).

PIO run a free school in Phnom Penh for children from Stung Meanchey, the dump kids.

I rarely work for FREE but I am happy to give my services to this organization as they work hard for the kids.

No it's not something you should be discussing with your wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend but the place where your chosen lens will give its sharpest results, usually a range of middle apertures from f5.6 to f11.
