My name is Denny Giacobe. I have lived on the shores of Lake Wallenpaupak in Tafton, Pennsylvania for many years. My backyard and the lake front provide an unlimited number of shooting options year round. I have been behind the camera for over 40 years, working both in and out of the studio. My career includes freelance work for Playboy and a wide variety of other subject matter, was the photographer for the restoration of the Statue of Liberty and my name appears on a plaque in the lobby. I like to feel that my work is unique in that I specialize in creating images rather than just taking them. I love lighting and creating my own images rather than simply pushing a button and hoping for the best. Have done work for JC Penny, Sears, Talk- A- Phone Co, and every once in a while my work is on WNEP TV 16, and local publications in the north east area of Pennsylvania. I have won a number of photography contests including one recently to promote a high end restaurant in my home town. I have great respect for the art of making pictures and would like to continue my growth in the industry.
