Do you Feel Embarrasse taking Pictures in the Public?

Hmm i think it is one of these cases where you overthink the situation. Of course it might seem a little odd to some parents if a stranger walks up to their kid and start taking pictures, but i also…

David, I think the one I commented on in a different thread is your best. You had a couple in your file that had interesting colors, but they weren't sharp. That's the most important criteria. I know you said all your shots are hand-held, but I'd su…

White balance is off on the first one. The second is good, but you have a dust spot that is distracting. The third is absolutely excellent. You have a good eye for composition and understand DOF. I presume you have a good tripod. My only suggestion…

My Equipment
Right now im using the eos 400d with the standard 18-50mm, Tamron 50-200 and to top that of i have a sigma 70-300 mm. This i have had for the last 2 years almost. On top of that I just sold some ragged old studio lighting which consisted of thre linkstar 150w lights with some softboxes, umbrellas, snoot, barndoors, and some color filters. Instead i bought the canon 580 ex II flash with a FE softbox and reflector dish.

I know what you mean I have mixed feelings about HDR preferring to get the image right in the camera and then do very minor improvements in Elements rather than major overhauls!! But I do like the composition and colour of that one. Good luck

Hi David, thanks, you can try any of them for free first. Most as the professionals use photoshop ps4 (I think thats what it's name is) It was too hard for me to understand and WAY to expencive. I really suggest you try them out first. There is a free one called gimp, but it was hard to understand as well. I just don't have time to spend trying to learn them right now. Gotta go, dinner is cooking. God Bless -Debbie-

Hello David, Thanks very much for your comment about my photos, as you can see I am a bit of a nut for creative editing. I am an amatuer and don't have a clue what I am doing, I just have fun and play till I like it. I have been using free trial versions of editing programs till I find the one I like best. I am using photoshop elements 7.0 ritght now and like it a lot. I also liked the Corel paint shop pro photo X2. both are pretty easy to use, have some great features and not to costly. You should try one. Well I better go for now. Blessings to you and yours and greetings to your family as well. -Debbie-

Hey David, as long as you saved the camera, right! That snow leopard was the first one I'd seen...and he was in a zoo in Big Bear mountaings - go figure. His gaze is fixed on a little boy that was running about to close to the fence... think he was hungry
