I have been experimenting with my little Canon G10's video capabilities. I am kind of a one camera wanderer. Carrying more than one weapon of choice into the field takes some of the fun out of walking in the wild. Mainly due to the weight. More rain, and crackling atmosphere as a thunderstorm rolls over the South Table Mountain flat top behind my home. I was hoping for a dry afternoon as yesterday was extremely wet, leaving my favorite biking trail slick with tar-like colloidal basalt mud. This lead me to a more than disappointing morning ride on chimney rock, much more trail than I can ride without fear of sudden death. I awoke in a new home this morning. I slept deeply my Terri still does so. This place has passed its first test. The sleep test is important to us both.
