- I’ve always loved to take pictures. Recently my interest in learning about and doing more of my hobby has taken off. I’ve gotten into reading about photography and techniques, learning more every time. After attending Chris Urias’ Main Street Guymon Photography Class, I became a member of the Main Street Shutterbugs. This is a new avenue of sharing information.
The visual arts has always been comfortable for me. Working as a graphic designer in the composing room of the Guymon Daily Herald for 17 years gave me some insight into composition. Taking photographs is similar, only much more fun.
It is difficult to say I have a favorite type of photograph to take. I enjoy the outdoors the most, including landscapes and such. But just taking a beautiful photograph is probably what is my favorite, no matter where it is or the subject.
