- I have been a photography hobbyist for about ten years now. I go into places and will go to places, and do things that many others would not. I.E. a ten mile hike just to get a shot or two. I do this because it is the only "thing" that I have that allows myself to see the world as it should be and to forget the struggles that we all share while I am doing it. The ultimate escape.

This past week I listened to the American presidential candidates speak at length about restoring religious freedom in America at rallies conducted in the State of Michigan. I was rather offended and outraged that this issue was placed ahead of much more serious issues inflicting the people of America and abroad to the tune of millions affected.
