I used my old prime 300mm f/4.0 Nikkor and a D200. I shot in Aperture Priority (wide open) at ISO 320 or 400. I used CF to track him and used Continuos High shutter release. I cropped this photo from an originally vertical capture.

It's amazing what you can do to occupy a rainy Saturday. Have you ever tried to photograph the splash made by a water drop. I played with it for a few hours today. After 260 images this is what I came up with.
First impact of a drop on the surface (you can still see the drip)
