looks like the Hong Kong sea.. i was there in '98..and remember looking out from the shore at those little mountains sprradically spaced throught the horizon...

in answer to your question. psuedo hdr is when hdr software, like photomatix, creates multiple exposures from a single image, enabling you to use hdr tone mapping to bring out more shadow detail in backlit situations for example. its most useful when you have movement in the subject (in this case camera movement as hand held and water movement). consider the possibilities of moveing subjects, people cars etc with the creative possibilities of hdr. regards colin

this is a wonderful image. this looks like a pretty natural shot(even though you mentioned the sky touch up), did you have a filter? And what is 'photomatrix psuedo hdr' ?
