Donna, I agree this breaks a number of rules, but I feel that it makes the picture so much more dynamic to have composed it that way. The wide space behind her, and the unknown space into which she is proceeding create a tension which stimulates our inquisitiveness.

Great comp. Normaly the person would be walking into the photo and not out but you made it interesting with the lines behind her. Well done!!!
