I get a lot of WW1 images in need of restoration. It's a real privilege.

It's true to say it is valuable work. There is so much analogue film and old prints sitting in boxes and fading away. My mission is to get the message of what can be done across those who have this important documentary material. Most of which are elderly in age and often without internet and a knowledge of what can be done to restore an image. To me, the restoration of old images is of real importance. No matter how seemingly mundane an old photograph is, as a collection they document our history in a way the written word never can.
