B&W has 'atmosphere' and 'emotion' - 50 million or is it 60 million times more than COLOUR ever could.
Especially when the togger captures tones, reflections, the drooped head of a bygone surfer, managing to frame the detail of the strap from ankle to board, the board reflecting age - like its owner. In colour this woulda been a snapshot - in B&W its timeless. Love the foreground reflection, middleground aging surfer guy and background pier. I wish I'd taken it !!! No wonder the Views are OFF THE CHART. I am #303 !!! and fave #2.
