Perito Moreno glacier, is fed from the Andean Ice-cap, spreads over 258 km and its face is over 60 meters high. The sight of it blows the mind.
This is one of the only advancing glaciers in the world, As it advances chunks of ice are constantly falling off the front of it into Lago Argentino These massive (60 meter-tall) chunks of ice break off with a thundering crack a sight even more impressive that the ice mountains but not as impressive as the view from the top looking back as far as you can see on more ice peaks Check my post "View from the top "
